The Fundacio Pauli Bellet organizes and sponsors the Kensington Day of the Book Festival every year in April. 2017 will mark the 12th year of this popular event that celebrates Sant Jordi and the International Day of the Book.

In the wake of the non-binding referendum on independence that took place on November 9, 2014 in Catalonia, and of the events that preceded and followed it, this colloquium was designed to inform a diverse audience, made up of Catalans and non-Catalans, proponents and opponents of Catalan independence, and to offer the audience the opportunity to ask questions to and receive answers from international experts on the subject.

This was an informative, moderated discussion on the legal and financial aspects of the Catalonia Independence movement, with performances of traditional Catalan music and modern Catalan poetry.
